How should I best upgrade / update my Ox CNC

Hello,

I’ve never really managed to get my old Ox running as it should. Never became friends with the Universal g-code controller software either. I would like to upgrade / update it with limit switches. Should I at the same time upgrade to the Duet controller? Can I keep the xPro and add switches, and will it be possible to begin using the new OpenBuilds contoller software? What is the best way to proceed and get a better workflow with my Ox?

Touch probe set up in Machine Specific

Hi, trying to set up my touch probe. I have no tab to enable the touch probe on the machine specific page. Duet Web Control 2.0.7. The board is 1.02 and Duet WiFi Server Version 1.23. Not sure if that is all relevant, Iv just installed the machine and uploaded latest software version… I think, thanks for your help in advance…

Web interface and z axis bottom out.

Hi, my 1500x1500 web interface has no work position settings, it has a temperature chart and extrusion control. When I’m sending a gcode the machine starts and runs however the Z axis would bottom out unless I cut the power-emergency stop. Thank you in advance for your support.

X axis endstop always triggered

Hello,

I recently broke the X axis endstop when homing my machine, no clue why but it must have added extra steps, then popped the endstop away, and stopped.

It was not the first time homing the machine.

I did not change anything in the configuration files except what was asked during the setup process.

After installing a new endstop, purchased from you, it is still shown being triggered on the web interface.

Same thing happens when I unplug the endstop, still shown as triggered on the web interface.

I can’t home the X axis properly, as it stays in its current position and consider it has been homed.

If pin is damaged, could I switch the endstop to E0 or E1 as they are free ?

Vibration and noise at idle

Hi, it appears that the motors keep producing noise after a movement has stopped. Particularly the Y motors. It is mostly noticeable when I press the emergency stop button and everything quiets down except the duet board fans. Is it a normal behavior ?

There is also a general vibration on the machine from the start-up, maybe due to the fans. Thanks.
