i can set home and wrk coordinates

and use xyz touchprobe

after touchprobe goto wokzero and he bt dives into wood 10mm approx

m98 p"workzero.g"

go/g1: target position outside machine limts

g38.2 command not supported

please help

I’m trying to drill 5mm holes in job (using 5mm end mlll) - my CAM software (FreeCAD) uses G81, G83 codes for this - which apparently are unsupported - what could I substitute for these?

Getting web interface controller on mobile

I’ve seen on another post that you have mentioned that “You can bring the web interface up on your mobile, which is normally easier than using a computer.”

Is there anything specific needed for this on the mobile or just the IP address in the browser on the phone?

We have a ethernet only workbee which is all connected OK but the PC does have a USB wifi adaptor.

Are the recesses in the acme thread blocks supposed to be 0.25mm undersized to the 10mm x 5mm x 1mm "precision shims" the assembly instructions show being installed there? If they are how are we supposed to install them? Are they intended to sit over top the recess? Specific step as an example of what I’m talking about: 3. X-Carriage Assembly

What is the significance of the limit switches' wiring lengths

I notice that the (V2.2) three limit switches (now located!) have three differing wiring lengths. Is this : Shortest -> Z axis, Middle -> X axis, longest - Y axis?

Error 9 in YAT

Hi there,

I am trying to connect the controller of my mashine to my laptop. When I followed the manual, at the end of step "1. Connecting your Controller via USB - Windows" I encountered the Error 9 after typing M115 into YAT.

But the USB connection is valid, I selected the right port and right before this step, the Terminal form was filled with the correct information.

Maybe I missed something, but I also double checked it. Sorry I'm quite new to this topic.

Z axis suddenly dropping catastrophically!

We've suddenly had this issue three times in the last few days. Midway through a cut, the z axis suddenly drops to its limit. It's happened at different points on the same program, so we think it's an issue machine side, not in the gcode. Anyone encounter this issue before, or able to offer any suggestions as to where to start fixing it? My first action will be to deep clean the machine, check the tightness of everything etc.

I noticed while building my new WorkBee, there are a few 3d printed parts used ie the duet controller case, stepper motor end caps, limit switch mount, Mafell mounts etc and was hoping in the spirit of open source, I could download the 3d model files used?, so I could print replacements if needed, perhaps modify to accommodate other thoughts and ideas, or simply to make those from a different colour?

ethernet connection failing when cutting

Hi there,

I bought a 750x1000 recently,(duet 2, W06623), saw it working before purchase, set it up on my laptop, I can manipulate all of the movements from the laptop, but when I attempt to send a file to cut, it comes up with "lost connection, trying to reconnect", tried a different ethernet cable, and I've tried removing the SD card out and cleaned it (although it was clean), any ideas please?
