How do I route the router cable?

I’ve left the router cable outside of the cable track, but I need to get it away from the moving parts of the machine. How do people do this?

Related - I have an enclosure, so I wonder if there is a good way to route the cable out of the enclosure - beyond just cutting a 3-pin-plug-sized hole in the back, and then hooking it up to an extension lead….

Hello,

I have issues calibrating Y Axis on a 1000x1000,

Z position after corner probing 10mm above where it should be

Hi, I’ve looked through the questions but can’t see a query for the following.

After successfully corner probing using the touch probe, I set XYZ work zero and home/jog away but when I click Go to work XYZ Zero, X and Y are correct but Z is 10mm above the corner position. It worked for a few runs initially but since running WorkBee-Firmware-v1.0.7 it has always been out on the Z access. Is there a setting in the software that may need changing? The probe settings are default and confirm to the dimensions of the probe.

Router wiring and emergency stop

Hi,

I've read the guide and watched the video for adding an emergency stop button.

Am I correct in thinking that “the router AND it's power" have nothing to do will the supplied machine, duet board and power supply?? In other words, the router cable goes “up in the air to a hook" then back down to a 13amp mains plug socket??

Placing an emergency stop button in that scenario is easy - break the live feed, wire in stop button - job done.

Your guides “stop the actual machine and stop the program being sent" - however, the router would still be running ………, which would be dangerous.

How can I wire an emergency stop button that “does ALL three" i.e stops the router, stops the machine, stops the programs??

If this is possible, is it then possible to have, 2, 3 or 4 stop buttons - one on each side, one at the front, one on a breakout “control console" located 3 feet to the right of the machine? (I'm planning of trying to get the Duet/Power Supply/Mini PC remotely located in a large flight case, so that the “brains" can be taken home each night and not left in my workshop).

Thanks - Kev :-)
