OK where are the words of wisdom for the firmware upgrade. Do I need to upgrade to the Workee F/W instead of the Duet F/W or are they the same. If so why don’t the rev numbers tally.

The Duet controller I have says it is running F/W rev RepRapFirmware for Duet 2 WiFi/Ethernet FIRMWARE_VERSION: 2.01(RTOS) ELECTRONICS: Duet WiFi 1.02 or later FIRMWARE_DATE: 2018-07-26b2

Hi Derek,

Thank you for your comment. The WorkBee Firmware includes the Duet firmware. You need to update everything. The WorkBee Firmware folder includes all the macros and configs which specifically with that Duet Firmware version.

Not related to this topic but I could not find anywhere yo write it: you should consider drilling a simetrical hole for the wire feed of the z limit switch within the plate described at step 2.3.3 of the mechanical guide- x Acme nut blocks. Apparently I mounted the plate the other way arround and I can't feed the wire as per the instructions unless I undoo about 12 hours of installation. Either adjust the instruction to attract attention to this item or drill a symmetrical whole so it does not matter if the plate is mounted the other way arround.

Hi Gabriel,

Thank you for your feedback on the design on the machine. We will look into your suggested change of the design and see if we can implement it on future designs.

I just did exactly this and have manually drilled a rather fugly hole myself. This step is easily missed. Good suggestion
