hi can you just confirm that we switch the power supply off at the wall socket at the end of a session rather than using the emergency stop , as the previous power supply had an on/off switch on the unit.
cant edit my comment but the instructions DON’T tell you to center both the X and Y axis..
ok i must be incrediably stupid…. followed the instructions to remove the clamping collars but had to switch off the machine to move the collars to a position i could loosen the grub screws.. switch machine back on and its showing theaxis not homed… so i turn the tensioner as instructed and have destroyed the X axis limit switch… can i just point out that the instructions do tell you to move the x axis into the center of the machine as well as the Y….. now have a useless lump of aluminium sat on my work bench..
yep me too .
that last step was confusing as i was looking for motor wire 3 in a drag chain rather than it being still in the box !!! maybe its time for a coffee !!
might be useful if there was an idea of how much ethernet cable is required to run through the drag chain and up to the controller, you’d then be able to estimate how much you’d need to get it to where your PC is going to be and buy an appropriate length in advance… or a bit of guidance about how to run it outside of the drag chain…
i’ve had the same issues with the button head screws.. i had to resort to hammering torx head bit into a partially rounded hex to remove on of the screws
