The Mafel is mounted at 17.6mm up from the bottom…

I have been very careful not to over tighten the wheels along the build process and yet I now have visible cracks in 6 on the machine. Some are under the y carriages so will be an absolute pain to replace. Suggest a slightly more definitive guidance on acceptable eccentric clamping force would be useful as part of the build instructions.

For the power supply on a 1510 machine, I think the cable needs to be a bit longer. This was very tight when trying to mount the cable under the bench as suggested. Hardly any slack left; I would suggest as much as 200mm more would open up much better cable management and routing options if you are considering mounting the E stop outside a future enclosure space so on the side of the workbench…

The Z limit switch cable could do with 20mm more length. It was almost impossible to get it to reach without significant strain on the segment in the drag train. I worry about long term robustness… (1510 machine here).

With the Mafel router and bit set 30mm protruding as instructed, the dust shoe bristles are pressed into the work piece significantly. The dust shoe is fully up in Z and no more adjustment possible. It feels like the milling bit could be set to protrude further. Have I missed something?

I ran the code and the program ran but the bristles were dangerously close to the cutter the whole time due to being pressed into the work piece!

I have tried all the suggestions above and cannot see the g code preview only the grid and work zero / tool position. Any advice welcome. I have tried edge and chrome.
