Hi, can any one explain why there is a 3mm offset in the formel in the Touch-Probe-Offset-Calculator.xls at this link...

ah - now I got it :-) a least I think - it is because the probe is moved 3 mm to the left before it is raised and moves towards the front side to find the Y pos. Where it again moves 3mm away from the Y side before the probe is raised. Make sense :-)
