Thanks Robert, the SD card system folder was empty because I’d deleted the files. I copied the backed up files onto it then put it back into the duet2 board. All steps complete now - Tom
Please advise
Hi Robert, thanks for your reply. The WorkBee will not connect to the computer.
I’m doing this step for my dad on his laptop and the windows controls aren’t native, on this machine single click is double click and so I accidentally uploaded the full set of files when clicking on the firmware update. I tried deleting all files and folders to start over with the backed up files but I I can’t delete the folders ‘step 11’ and ‘step 12’ and also after going through their subfolders and deleting all the files within. How can I start over?
Have to agree with the previous commenter. Furthermore, trying to drill 9mm deep holes - not 10mm, not 8mm…and definitely don’t drill all the way through the 12mm mdf board - is really difficult and very time consuming. Could do with improving this aspect of the design.
Hopefully, by now you’ll have found the LED install information in the learning portal guide.
The router mount pictured on this page is not the same as the mount in my v2.3.1 kit. I found information about the supplied mount in the ‘learning portal’ - just before I was going to telephone Ooznest to ask for help. Frustrating!
Adjusting cable slack in the Y axis drag chain is difficult once the chain is installed. An indication of cable length at the Duet controller end would help prevent having to make any adjustments.
This section is definitely a two person job - in fact, I think the entire build would best be completed by two people. After all, two heads are better than one and there have been several instances where I have misinterpreted the guides. With reference to all the extrusions: C beams and V slots - ensure there is no swarf in the threaded holes. I lightly tapped the extrusions on a tiled floor and vacuumed the threaded holes.
