Raspbbery Pi (Linux) won't connect to Workbee

I'm in the process of changing from a Windows 8 PC to a Raspberry Pi 5 and after setting the ipv4 address, netmask and gateway, the page will not load. The Pi is showing a successful wired connection (unless the up/down arrows don't represent succesful up/down connections) but I'm getting something like 'connection unavailable' or something (I forgot as soon as I shut down the Pi).
