Limit switch threaded and upside down

I was following the x carriage assembly and the limit switch picture was vague. At the end on step 15 where it asks you to double check, I did and now the switch will not unscrew as the threads are gone. Any suggestions? Most I can think of is destroy the switch with pliers and contact Ooznest.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi Chris,

The Z-Limit switch should be placed at the bottom of the plate X-Plate Front with the metal on the switch facing down, and secured in place with 2 x M2.5-Button-Head-Bolt-10mm on the countersunk side of the plate.

Once this is in place you would not need to unscrew the switch. The guide asks to double check the wiring is as the guide instructs.

You can contact us on https://ooznest.co.uk/help/ to assist further with your build

Thanks

As shown in the picture, the switch does not face down, and the screws are threaded on one of the screws.
