Very weak access point signal

we have trialed wifi connectivity fixes and switched to direct access point from laptop to Duet. However the SSID of the WorkBee is not broadcast reliably and when it does appear it is a very low strength connection (and the laptop is practically on top of the CNC!) - any help appreciated.

PS the fix we are currently going with is a wifi enhancer attached to the laptop and have went back to going via the network - because direct access point is so unreliable - we thought it would be the other way around!

Thanks for your message, what antenna does your Duet have, is it the built in one, or external one?

Thanks for your message.

Can you double check the External Antenna is correctly plugged into the controller? (The centre pin on the Antenna, should go into the hole on the controller connector)
