Possible length of material

Hi I am considering buying one of these machines. I see samples and videos on line, but I don’t see my specific use, so I thought I would ask first rather than regret later! I have pieces of hardwood 1.5 metres long x 5cm x 2cm (imagine the wooden slats on a bench).

Will it be possible to engrave a name in the middle of one of these pieces of wood? To clarify there will be:

[ ….60cms empty space….][ HERE SITS HENRY] [ ….60cms empty space….]
