Touch Probe Outside Machine Limits

I am doing the Set Work Zero process in the First Project. I am using the Touch Probe and have followed the instructions. When I press Probe Corner, the router raises, changes position, lowers, touches the plate, and then gives me the error “G0/G1: target position outside machine limits”. What am I doing wrong?

Hi David,

Thanks for your question.

It could be either you are trying to probe too close to the front left corner. In that case, move your material closer to the middle.

Or your endmill is sticking out too much, so it has not got enough Z Height to travel.
