Post processor for the Workbee?

Hi,

I’m using Aspire 9.514 with my Workbee and currently use the “Grbl (mm) (*.gcode)” post processor. It works fine but, has the annoying habit of using unsupported M codes in the toolpaths (e.g. M2) and consequently I receive an error code when running it. I can edit the toolpaths to remove the unwanted codes, but would rather they weren’t added in the first place!

So my question is “Is there is a specific post processor available for the Workbee”, If so how do I get it and install it?

Many thanks to anyone who can help.

Hi Rod,

Thanks for your email.

There should be an Ooznest Duet Arcs Post Processor. But it will still give the M3 Error if you don’t have a software-controlled spindle installed.

You can install your own PP onto Vectric: https://docs.vectric.com/docs/V10.0/Aspi...

It should be fairly obvious what bits to remove so you no longer get that error.

Thanks Robert, following on from your reply, I "grabbed the bull by the horns" and learnt a bit about gcode commands. I have now created my own post processor, installed it in Aspire, used it to create the toolpath and ran the job on the Workbee. Success!
