Does the touch probe determine squareness?

This is probably a stupid question but if it’s answered in the guides then I’ve missed it, unless it’s so ridiculous people didn’t even bother considering it! Anyway…

If I fix a workpiece down exaggeratedly wonky and then probe all axes, all straight lines in my test look to be attempting to follow what the machine will do without combining X and Y movements. I’m assuming this is meant to be the case?

At the moment I’m using a much smaller spoiler board for my WorkBee so has not been machined to give any references or anything like that.

Any thoughts appreciated!
