Help please, I have done something very wrong.

I have been working with my Workbee 1000x1000 successfully over the Winter and noticed a bit of movement on one end of the Z carriage, rotated the (cant remember the correct name) the nuts with the holes off centre to tighten up the wheels on the rail, now its all gone wrong somehow. i was just doing some testing on ply with some 2mm 5mm and 10mm deep holes at 40dia. The hole is pretty much round, and a little undersized but it is now cutting approx 1.5-2mm deeper than it should be. Also, I noticed before and its still the same now but even with the machine on i can move the z carriage up by hand, only 1-2mm but it is a noticeable movement. I am using a 1/4 bit and cut a maximum of 1mm deep but the first cut is massive, afterwards they seem to be correct at 1mm.

I think that i have found the culprit. On the other side of the Z extrusion, the locking collar on the lead screw has vibrated loose and probably being sucked up by the vacuum, that collar is now free to move up and down a short distance, so the whole head can move up and down. I will look for a spare to confirm problem has been solved.
