Ethernet port lights not working

I don't get any lights on the ethernet port. and i’m unable to connect to the machine

when i run M115 i get this returned

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your email.

Keeping main power turned off, lets just troubleshoot using the USB Cable.

Therefore can you disconnect via mains power, then connect the USB Cable. Does the Ethernet Cable work then?

(There ethernet connection should work just over USB)
