When might we expect a newer version of firmware to replace 3.3.0-1.2?
I am hoping that any upgrade might fix the issue where the job progress bar shows incorrect progress / time to go.
Is this issue likely to be rectified?

This will be fixed in the next release. No date set for it yet.
Does the issue happen on every file you cut?

No, not every file. Very small files usually appear to report the percentage completed as a sensible value, but bigger files usually report back figures much, much larger than 100%, and provide widely varying estimates of time-to-go.
