Windows Computer -Windows Crash

Hopefully someone can help?

Yesterday, my computer crashed, forcing me to have to completely download windows 12 again.

Part of the process is to completely remove all the Apps/Programs and settings from the laptop.

The problem I now have, is that all the original software that speaks to the machine is now gone.

To clarify, I don't mean the CNC software that designs the items, I mean anything that speaks to the machine itself.

I have gone onto Microsoft Edge and tried to connect via 'Workbee Local', however for some reason it just keeps timing out.

If I disconnect the cable the computer 'dings' so there is a connection.

I vaguely remember having to download a patch or something, but I don't remember what.

Can anyone help?

Regards

Hi Merv,

To get connected back to the Workbee, you will need to change the settings for your ethernet port, as they are back to default settings now.

To do so, please follow our ethernet guide here - 1. Connecting your Controller to a Network - Ethernet

Thanks
