Hopefully someone can help? Yesterday, my computer crashed, forcing me to have to completely download windows 12 again....

Is there anyone out there who can tell me what I am doing wrong? I have a Workbee Z+ and have an OptLasers 15W laser...

That was not too difficult. I searched for it using find my laser and initially it didn’t work, however I switched the system on one day and noticed it was connected. That’s it!

Hello again. It is linked as follows. CNC - CAT 5 - Cat 5 to USB converter - USB into my windows 11 laptop and finally Lightburn. Since I started this thread, Lightburn no longer talks to the machine at all. I now have to save GCode and then load via the normal Ooznest interface. On the surface, you may think that having to do this is not a big problem, however it prevents me being able to frame work or tuning the laser on to frame. It really slows the process down. Just pressing start or frame in Lightburn was a great bonus. Just as a side note. I have never actually used the CNC side of the machine. You may think this a pathetic statement, but, I just cant get my brain around the programming side. I've tried a number of pieces of software, (trial versions), and can't seem to crack it. I've tried to skim the surface to level it all out on a number of occasions, but the CNC moves a few centimetres in the X direction and then stops. Hence the reason that I turned to lasering, which I find very easy. It's a...

Hello Ryan. Can you tell me if there is any way to switch the Z1 off on the control software, without just pulling the plug. Thanks, maybe it’s there and I can’t see further than the end of my nose.

After sending command M5552 S1 to connect to WiFi, you may need to hit ‘Enter’ again, as like mine, my wifi was idle until the first command woke it up. The second ‘Enter’ connected it.
