Tool too high from material

Extremely new to all this and need some newbie help. I'm trying to face a 250 x250x18 MDF but when I run the program the tool is too high. It follows the correct path but the z axis doesn't want to play. I've probed the start point and the simulation runs as should im obviously missing something obvious.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Hi John,

Thanks for your question.

After the probe has finished, are you pressing Set Work XYZ? Because I think you could be, and this would cause your issue. There is no need to press it, the probing function auto does it.
