Workbee router head setting

Hi, so I’ve set everything up and was just trying to carry out the first test project and noticed that the bottom nipple (coupler) underneath the router control is hitting the 18mm mdf before the router bit is. I had set the router head at the height instructed in the setup stages and have also made sure the router but is protruding only 30mm as also requested.

Surely the only way of solving this is lowering the height that the router is mounted? Then I figure I’d have to redo the tough probe configuration prior to carrying out the test again?

Many thanks

Hi Ryan,

Can you reply back with a picture of your Z-Axis so we can see exactly what you mean. As if the guides have been followed, it should all be correct.

So it seems I had fitted the coupler on the outside of the z axis housing as opposed to inside! Only took a few minutes to sort so all good.

Thanks for taking the time to reply
