How to disassemble wheels?

Is there a way to disassemble the wheel? Without damaging any of the parts (bearing or the wheel itself)?

I've just recently received an order that included 3 gantry plate kits with 6 wheels each, and after it arrived I was so excited that I quickly hurried to put the wheels together... Watching some random video on YouTube, showing the washer being placed outside, between the bearing and the spacer, I quickly pressed the bearings in the wheel housing and proceeded on assembling the gantry, but then as soon as I would tighten it, the wheels weren't turning. Then, trying to find some official Ooznest diagram/drawing, I ended up looking at the gantry assembly for the workbee, which showed the washer being placed inside the wheel, between the bearings. SO my issue must definitely be because, without that washer there, as soon as I start to tighten it, it pulls the center of the 2 adjacent bearings towards eachother, and the bearings can't function smoothly anymore.

The material of these Solid V Xtreme wheels is extremely tough, and I really don't know how to go about it... But I would like to remove the bearings and place the washers between them, and still use the wheels... I wouldn't want to just order new wheels and throw these away like that, would be wasteful...

Hi Marian,

It is possible with a bit of effort. Use a M5 Bolt, and sort of rotate the bolt round at an angle gradually pulling the bearing out using a rocking motion.
