motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 1

I have got this message coming up on my screen "motor phase A may be disconnected reported by driver(s) 1". Look like there is a problem with the Y axis. If I move the Y axis one side moves before the other. Is this a software problem, or a wear and tear of bearing or motors? The machine has been working for number of years.

Hi Chris,

Can you check the connectors at the controller end of the controller. I believe you have also emailed in directly, so would be best to reply there.
