X axis homes in wrong direction

Homes z ok. Home y ok. Home x and it wants to home to left hand side. Operation of x when jogging is fine + goes right and - goes left. Upgraded to latest files. Endswitches trigger as should. I’m sure it’s something simple, but cant for the life of me think what. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi Graeme,

When it homes to the left, does it home the whole way, or just only roughly 5mm?

Hi Robert,

X moves off left (doesn't matter where it starts from on the X axis) and moves until it bumps into into the Y axis and I have to use the emergency stop.

Hi Graeme,

Thanks for the information.

Not sure, it should operate correctly, there is nothing else to it. The only thing is that the limit switch could be intermittent. So if it accidentally triggers, the homing would go in the opposite direction as part of its second stage.

You can get replacement switches here: https://ooznest.co.uk/product/original-w...

Robert, thanks for your response, prompted me to go back and check everything again, as like me your thoughts were it should work. So after checking I found that the X axis was jogging in the wrong direction, so once known it was an easy fix. Thanks for your input.
