Fitting door interlocks to Workbee z1+

We have a workbee Z1+ in our workshop, and health and safety have asked me to fit door interlocks. Obviously I can relay switch the power to everything the same way that an E stop button works, but before I do that (and lose the position each time). Is there a way I can wire a switch into the controller board so it does a soft e-stop based on a switch?
