CNC Control 3.3 Upgrade produces 3D printer error message

There seems to be a configuration error here...

We have a ca2018 WorkBee Z1+ that I have updated to firmware 3.30.
The update produces an error relating to 3D printers: 'attempting to extrude with no tool selected'.
All of the web search results relating to this error point to RepRap config settings.
I want to check here to see if anyone has a definitive answer relating to WorkBee Control upgrade. Or, in other words, what to do about this error message?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

Hi David,

The error occurs because the firmware may be misconfigured or the G-code file contains any extrusion commands. Please refer to the firmware update details here: How To Update WorkBee Firmware V1.0.7 > V3.3.0-1.2

If the issue persists, contact our technical support at help@ooznest.co.uk or via https://ooznest.co.uk/help/.

Thank you, Cyndy. I was following this guidance, and have stopped at Step 15 due to the emergence of this error.

Having read through the guidance several times, I see nothing that points to a configuration setting relating specifically to this error. With that in mind, I've come on to the Answers forum to see if anyone can provide the missing detail.

I can rule out gcode file errors, as I've run it error free prior to this firmware upgrade.

In line with your suggestion I will contact Technical Support.
