Y axis stepper synchronization

Just finished build, everything working great on the face of it apart from a small niggle, which may not be important.

I've adjusted the tension on the screws and the v wheels, the frame is square to the millimeter, no slop in anything and I've adjusted both yaxis screws so that they are the same distance from the face plates when homed.

However, when I jog the machine to 0,0,0 there is (always) a difference of about 2.5mm between the left gantry plate and the front of the machine compared to that on the right hand side. When homed again there is no discrepancy. Is this something I should be concerned about.
