How to avoid Tenons Marks

Hello,

I know it’s not very relative to the Workbee, but I’m struggling to find a solution to avoid tenon marks during contour cut on my 1000X1000. I’ve tried 3d tenons, but still, any contour that I try leave marks at in/out of tenons.

Thanks for your help

Guillaume

Hi Guillaume,

Thanks for your question

Can we get a picture of the marks which are being left? Do you mean tabs not tenons?

What CAM Software are you using?

Best Regards

Robert

Hello Robert,

Yes indeed it’s tabs sorry for my english, I’m currently using Vcarve toolpaths, haven’t tried with Fusion yet, Vcarve is doing the job for the rest, the only reccurent problem that I have is these tabs marks, even with 3D tabs, during contour. I tried several types of 3.17mm end-mills. Please finf pictures attached.

Thanks a lot for help. Best

Guillaume

Hi Guillaume, these marks are caused when the machine comes to an abrupt stop. 3D Marks help alleviate this but is not going to stop. I would try doing a finishing pass to remove them marks.
