after firmware upgrade - cannot home Y axis

I have an older WorkBee, and recently upgraded the firmware - I am unable to home Y. When the axis is set to “M569 P1 S1” the Y screws will not synchronize and seem to go in opposite directions; If I try S0 then Y movement is synchronized but go in the opposite what it should be.

I was able to resolve the problem by changing “M569 P3” from S0 to S1 in “config-drives.g“

Thank you for pointing me in the proper direction.

Hi Larry,

Is yours a belt drive WorkBee?

When you upgraded did you complete Step 12 here: How To Update WorkBee Firmware V1.0.7 > V3.3.0-1.2

It is entirely screw-drive... I missed the warning, and did screw-drive section... Are the original files available to reupload?

Looking at the files uploaded in Step 12, I have adjusted those values through the web UI. I have also validated the wire terminations...

I still have the problem

Hi Larry,

If you are machine is all screw-drive, then Step 12 should not be completed.

Please redo Step 11 to put it right: How To Update WorkBee Firmware V1.0.7 > V3.3.0-1.2

Best Regards

Robert
