Z axis motor movement

Is it possible that the Z axis motor can creep down on its own after zeroing the machine.

I recently fitted a Vevor air cooled motor and am wondering if the weight of it is on the border of what the motor can hold.

Also is there a solution for this?

This is potentially due to the weight of your spindle. Do you know how much it weighs?

That is right on the limit of the maximum recommended weight.

If there any other accessories on the z-axis?

No that’s all that is on it, can the stepper motor be upgraded?

Hi John,

The 175oz 2.8A is the motor currently used.

I would not recommend changing it on any axes though.
