I used PMMA, acrylic glass, the cell casted type, with less tensile strength and easy to work with, regarding drilling, routing and so on. The thickness tolerance however gave me the most headache , being 6,4 mm’s. It was a real tight fit, I needed to hammer the sheets in, which required to assemble in reversed on some steps. Having such a tight fit in the frame is nice because the sheets don’t rattle in a loose frame. But this took me longer to assemble than should have.
how do you access the ACME-AB-Nut-Block set screw at this final stage?
