I think this is a mistake “Secure the Angle-Corner tightly in the corner between the C-Beam-750mm and V-Slot-2040 665mm while the machine is held square. “ It should read “Secure the Angle-Corner tightly in the corner between the C-Beam-750mm and V-Slot-2040-745mm while the machine is held square. “ as per following statement.
I had this and it was because I had previously homed the CNC so Z was sat up high on its limit. The likelihood is that you will have moved X/Y to a more suitable location for doing the set up but not Z!
Can the Touch Probe be plugged in/out of the Touch Probe Mount Connector whilst the Duet is powered up?
On the new web interface the limit switches are identified by their numbers 0,1,2 as per how they are plugged in on the board. Also my switches all appear as per the images but I had to switch to S1 to get the nominally closed/open right.
To upload the new system files you go to File Management > System > Upload System Files on the new version.
This is a bit confusing because what actions performed on the local machine and on the web interface are mixed up. To upload the new system files you go to File Management > System > Upload System Files on the new version.
This basically doesn’t seem to work for adding a Duet to an already existing LAN Network. Refer to https://duet3d.dozuki.com/Guide/1.)+Gett... for instructions that work.
Note M540 will return the MAC Address of the Duet which is helpful if you want to add a DHCP Reservation.
To be clear steps 1 to 3 only need to be done IF you have only used your laptop/computer on WiFi and are now joining a new LAN network. Its not clear. ipconfig will still allow you to determine the subnet of your LAN which will help in the following step 4
I’m not sure if I just missed this but I didn’t see any reference to the Screw-End-Caps provided in my V2.2.1 kit. In the end I just screwed them on with a bag of M5-Low-Profile-40mm bolts that had not been used for anything else.
I’m a touch confused by this but guess the 1hr 10min time estimate is for an older non-assembled version?
