I'm planning to use an old 32 bit laptop to run my machine. The YAT link is for the 64bit version. I have downloaded and installed the 32bit version and .net 4.8 without any difficulty. Is there any problem using this version?
I found it easier to disconnect both ends of the chain to fit the lower zip tie and feed the limit switch cable through.
Would be helpful to make it unambiguous which chain is which in the instructions here. The code written on the chain wrapper is not immediately obvious if it is not explained.
Definitely easier to attach the fixed end of the chain to the mount before bolting the mount onto the frame, especially if you have limited access round the back of the machine.
Looks like that to me too.
A general comment is that is would be useful to list at the start of each section what tools would be advised for that section - e.g. for this section a 3mm allen key and an 8mm spanner…
