After taking a break and re-inspecting the instructions, as well as rooting around in the SD card and update files I have discovered the issue I’m facing. Likely this is what @ryanlock was trying to say, but I was not able to understand it in his response. This step explicitly states that the entire step should be skipped if you are not setting up the WiFi version of the controller board. Within this one step there are actually two separate actions, the fist of which should be skipped if you are not setting up the WiFi version of the board, the second being the part that I was missing due to being told to in the instructions. Either these two actions should be split into two steps like this step and the previous are, or all three actions should be part of the same step with the action for the WiFi setup being explicitly highlighted as the section to skip.

An unofficial solution here, but this could probably work. Make sure to be safe about it: (1) On one of the PWM fan headers, attach a PWM operated switch. (2) Use that switch to control a relay (make sure the voltages and and power draw are within specs). (3) Use a short extension cord inline with your router running though an enclosure box to keep things safe. The only components secured inside it should be the power relay and the electrical cables. (4) In the enclosure box, cut the hot line in the cord and attach the power side of the relay to allow it to control power through it. (5) In your gcode, set the fan to 100% when you want to start the router, then to 0% when you want to shut it off.

You guys wouldn’t happen to have a *.machine file for fusion 360? They deleted my old setup for this CNC when they did the big update that removed rapids and I’d rather not spend a day finding and typing all the relevant information in again.

You mean the step that explicitly says “Do not do this step if you have the ethernet version.” on my ethernet version?

I’ve been trying to complete setup but it appears as though the version of firmware I have (latest at 1.0.7) has some major aspects missing in the interface. It looks little like the images on the instructions (in particular installing the touch probe), and speaking of the probe, I can not find the section in the machine specific settings to enable the probe (as well as the dashboard displaying extruder information). It looks as if the default duet 2 interface has remained in place. If there is a step the commissioning page left off please direct me to where I can find that information.

I’ve been trying to set up my workbee in fusion 360, and I can’t find an actual printer setup info anywhere (yes I installed the post processor). I’m currently rooting through the gcode and doing math to find things like resolution, and rapid/max feed rates. If all the relevant information could be listed here it would be rather helpful for anyone having to enter it manually, and even better if the fusion 360 printer setup file could be listed under the post processor file.
