Had to read this twice before realising that the 50mm cut off one end of the slot cover was to be discarded, not the part to be used! (Couldn’t work out why you would choose to only shield 50mm of the entire wire length along the extrusion). Perhaps I should take a break and eat some more of those parma violets….
Which end of the output cable from the emergency stop goes at the moving end, and which at the fixed end?
Presumeably you’re meant to also repeat this whole step for the back-left Y-End-Plate side too?
“slide a Extrusion-A through all the Tee-Nuts on each Extrusion-D.“ <— shouldn’t that be all the Tee-Nuts on each Extrusion-*C*? (created in the last step)
Note that the L-brackets are asymmetrical!
I hadn’t spotted that the Z-End plates have one recessed side and one not. Be sure to insert the bolts from the inset side… otherwise (like me) you’ll have difficulties working out how to mount the touch sensor on a non-flush surface!
@robthompson My precision shims were in a (labelled) bag in the “Brackets and Spacers” box
