I too had this question. The cable end with the crimped black and red cores should come out of the moving end (the end thats going to be attached to the y carriage/controller)
With the 90mm gap as described on a 1500mm machine, i found the drag chain coil ran hard into the right y carriage well before the x limit switch is triggered. I reduced the gap to 65mm and it clears it now.
My browser kept saying ‘error network unreachable’ Until i figured out that you need to click ‘ok’ after entering the ip address and ‘close’ the ipv4 properties window before the new settings take effect. Then it worked fine. Oh, and i just discovered the sweeties!
I couldn’t get enough slack on the drag chain x and limit switch 0 wires to secure them down to extrusion B. I settled for cable tieing the cables to the last drag chain link crossbar, that should stop them rubbing on anything.
When connecting up the controller I couldn’t get limit switch 0 cable to its socket. So I had to cut an extra 100mm off the switch end of the slot cover to get a bit more slack. That is on a 1500x1500 machine.

I found length of motor-wire 5 is quite tight get it to the connection socket on the controller, leave as little slack as possible when routing it.
