If there are cut lines on the bottom surface of a piece of material, the router head needs tramming. Tramming the Router Head is completed after surfacing the spoilerboard and will make sure the end mill is parallel to the spoilerboard.  To tram a Router Mount, we recommend creating a tool similar to this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9h5srzEB... To tram the Y-Axis, this can be completed in a similar fashion to the video above. However, loosen the bolts on both sides indicated by the green arrow in Step 1 of this guide: 4. X-Gantry Assembly To tram the X-Axis, attach the Height Reference tool, as per Step 3 in this guide: 7. Router Mount And complete Step 4 to attach the Router Mount perfectly on top of the height reference tool.

Hi Mike, We wouldn't advise using the WorkBee with a Plasma cutter, due to the wheels and other parts being plastic, that splatter will damage them. In addition, Plasmas normally require torch height control, this is not something our controller supports. A plasma cutter uses arc voltage to maintain a consistent distance from the plate while cutting. The controller we use has no way of reading this arc voltage, therefore it cannot automatically control the height.

Hi Rip, Thanks for your email. The Touch Probe panel rewrites the macro every turn you probe something new to match the new settings. It should allow you to attach custom probes like the Openbuilds probe, even if they are active high/low. Best Regards Ryan Lock

Please follow these steps:

- Turn off mains power to your WorkBee and plug it in via Ethernet to your home router or networked switch

- Connect via USB following this guide: 1. Connecting your Controller via USB - Windows (Ignore the first point where it says do not follow this guide if you have the Ethernet version of the Controller)

- Send the command: M552 S0 and wait 10 seconds

- Send the command: M552 S1 P0.0.0.0 and wait 30 seconds

- Send the command: M552

- It should come back with an IP Address the WorkBee is now connected under. Go to this IP Address in your web browser and bookmark it.

- In WorkBee Control go to Files > System and open config-network.g

- Find this line: M552 S1 P192.168.251.2 and change it to M552 S1 P<IP ADDRESS>

Change <IP ADDRESS> to the IP Address you are currently connected under.

- Save the file, do not restart.

- Unplug via USB and turn on mains power. It should reconnect under the new IP Address

Hi Joost,

Tighten the clamping screws on the motor shaft first, then on the lead screw. Then tighten the grub screws on both sides.
