Hi Mike, We wouldn't advise using the WorkBee with a Plasma cutter, due to the wheels and other parts being plastic, that splatter will damage them. In addition, Plasmas normally require torch height control, this is not something our controller supports. A plasma cutter uses arc voltage to maintain a consistent distance from the plate while cutting. The controller we use has no way of reading this arc voltage, therefore it cannot automatically control the height.
Hi Kalamon, Thanks for your question. It is surprising that it would cut deeper on a single pocket, but all the others are fine. Have you surfaced your spoilerboard to insure it is parallel to the X-Gantry of the machine? Best Regards Ryan Lock
Hi Rip, Thanks for your email. The Touch Probe panel rewrites the macro every turn you probe something new to match the new settings. It should allow you to attach custom probes like the Openbuilds probe, even if they are active high/low. Best Regards Ryan Lock
Hi Mads. Thank for your message. It looks like it could be due to a weak signal. There is some information missing from that readout. Please connect via USB and run the command M122 in YAT or a Terminal Emulator. In the report back there will be a line: 'WiFi signal strength' Values in the range -30 to -50 are good, -50 to -60 is OK, -60 to -70 is marginal. Anything below -70 is weak and likely be unreliable. If the signal strength is -60 or below you need to improve the strength where the machine is located or switch to access point mode.
